Life Membership

Do you know someone special who's gone above and beyond for Townsville Touch Football over ten or more years? They might be eligible for Life Membership!

Life Membership may be conferred on an individual who:

"...in the opinion of the current Management Committee have contributed outstanding loyalty, effort, devotion and citizenship to the Association and to the sport of Touch."

Townsville Castle Hill Touch Association Inc. Constitution,  Section 4(a)(3)

For a person to be nominated for Life Membership, they must have served ten (10) years continuous service in the form of administration. This may be in the form of holding a position on the TTF Board (Management Committee), as a technical arm coordinator (Referee Coordinator, Coaching Coordinator, etc.), or a position on one of TTF's sub-committees (Townsville Junior Touch, Saints Representative, etc.).

Note: These conditions may only be varied in the case of extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the TTF Board.

Nominations for Life Membership are considered once each year at the Annual General Meeting and must be received by the Secretary at least 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.

Each nomination must be submitted in writing on the official nomination form and must be signed by the Proposer and Seconder.

A maximum of three (3) nominations for Life Membership may be considered at each Annual General Meeting and will be presented in order of receipt.
